As Sky Falls

The sun's rays spread upon the land as the sky falls, heavy with cloud.

This somewhat conventional representational landscape of sky is followed by a full size extract that shows it to be less so. The third image is an abstract painting that arose from the same core subject, and weighted with fragments of countless tiny liquid droplets that remind me of the cumulative affect of the insatiable appetite of humans for energy, pleasure, power, and comfort.

I think of the title as expressing my thoughts of all that I send into the sky, and how this returns with the weather and force in which it falls.
