The River of Light at Dawn

The beauty of morning with nature. This work arose from my many walks in woodland before dawn.

The colours, texture, and gestures of art seem to better transfer the experience I have as compared with a photograph. I wonder whether photos are so closely aligned to what we see or might see, they feel somehow ordinary. With paintings I more easily open the pathways to my emotional, magical, and spiritual sensibilities.
